The Ghana News Agency gathered that the incident occurred at about 2:00 hours on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at his residence in Tema Community One Site 12.

She stated that, “after taking my bath, I saw someone lying on the bed with him outside his room as he had placed the bed on the compound during the cleaning. I could not make the person out because it was light out, so, I called the children and asked who the person was, and they told me it was his girlfriend. I then proceeded inside to sleep.”

Ms Tetteh mentioned that at about 02:10 hours while they were sleeping, he started screaming, calling on her husband for help, and requesting that they pour water on him, adding that they immediately rushed him to the Tema General Hospital, and later filed a complaint at the Police station.
