CEO of Lower Pra Rural Bank retires

Shama (WR), Sept. 29, GNA – Mr. Isaac Kwamina Afful, the Chief Executive Officer of the Lower Pra Rural Bank has encouraged his successor to ensure that discipline was sustained in the Bank to take it to the next level. 

He said the bank could boost expansion and growth, and entreated management and staff to continue in that virtue plus responsive corporate governance principles to even advance its growth. 

Mr. Afful said this during a sendoff ceremony organised by the bank for him at the weekend in Shama. 

He thanked God, Staff, Management and Board and Businesses that trusted in his abilities and worked closely with him to grow the bank. 

Nana Brefo Dadzie, Chief of Upper Shama Junction said every good thing was interred with the doer and lauded the former CEO for the great work done. 

He admonished naysayers to desist from the practice and rather support the new CEO to thrive. 

Mr. Ebenezer Dadzie, the District Chief Executive of Shama noted that not anybody could excel at a particular task and praised the former CEO for steering the bank in the last 28 years. 

Mr. Ernest Nii Tackie Otoo, the new CEO, promised to follow and tap into his rich experiences. 

Ms. Aba Dawood, the Board Chairperson, said the achievement of the former CEO was unmatched and wished him well in his political journey. 

“We are grateful to you for the sterling contributions to the fortunes of the Bank,” she added. 

Mr. Kwaku Sarkodie, Manager at the Bank of Ghana, Takoradi encouraged the new management team to advance on compliance on regulatory standards.  

He also educated on the need to handle the cedi well to save the government from spending on printing  

Mr. Eric Okyere, Director of ARB Bank, Western encouraged the Bank to expand their current opportunities and grow to occupy the top on Rural and community bank rankings.
