All is set for fifth Avenor Tutudoza Festival launch

Akatsi (VR), Sept. 20, GNA-The 2024 edition of ‘Avenor Tutudoza’ celebrated by the people of Avenor Traditional Area would be launched on Saturday, September 21.

The festival is celebrated under the royal patronage of Togbe Dorglo Anumah VI, President of the Avenor Traditional Council and Paramount Chief of Avenor Traditional Area.

The grand launch, to be held at Letsa Korba Hall of the Akatsi College of Education, would set the tone for yet another traditional display and the gathering of all sons and daughters, as well as non-indigenes of Avenor towards the growth of the area.

Torgbui Tali Gafatsi III, Chairman of the festival’s Central Planning Committee, explained to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview that this year’s celebration, to be climaxed in November this year, would record series of activities such as the annual pilgrimage to ‘Datsutagba’ health walk, musical concerts, and others.

He said the launch would serve as a call to all to come together in supporting another purposeful celebration.

‘Avenor Tutudoza’ celebrated by the Chiefs and people of Avenor, remained an invitation to all sons and daughters of Avenor, as well as non-indigenes, to visit, and witness the community’s vibrancy, and support all efforts in building a better Traditional Area.

The rebranded festival is celebrated under the auspices of the Avenor Traditional Council.

It is on the theme “Fostering Peace and Unity for Sustainable Development in Avenor.”
