MOSCOW, Sept. 10, (Xinhua/GNA) — Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, on Monday refuted media reports claiming that Iran is supplying missiles to Russia, saying such allegations are not always accurate.
His comments were in response to media reports suggesting that Iran, had recently delivered short-range ballistic missiles to Russia for use in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. “We saw these reports, but such information does not always reflect reality,” Peskov said. He further said Iran remains an important partner for Russia, highlighting that the two countries are strengthening cooperation and dialogue across various sectors.
