Accra, Sep. 7, GNA – The Black Stars of Ghana have arrived in Oujda, Morocco for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group F qualifier against Niger.
The team would hope for a positive result this time round after digging themselves a deep hole in their opening fixture against Angola.
The visitors settled on a late goal to snatch all three points from a star-studded Ghanaian side.
According to the Ghana Football Association, Los Angeles Galaxy forward Joseph Painstil was the only player who could not travel with the team due to passport issues.
Coach Otto Addo and his 23-man squad would begin training on Saturday before taking on the Menas of Niger at the Berkane Municipal Stadium on Monday, September 9, 2024.
The four-time African Champions currently sit third on the table with no point to brag about.
