Accra, Aug 23, GNA – QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analyst and compiler of the QS World University Rankings, will hold the annual QS Africa Forum at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) from 9th -10th, September.
A statement issued by the UPSA, copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the Forum would unite leaders from academia, industry, and government to explore the opportunities and challenges students face across Africa, including integrating entrepreneurship, future skills, and technology in education for sustainable development.
It said the unique and empowering event to be hosted by UPSA would delve into how higher education could adapt and thrive in an era of rapid change, as well as solutions and opportunities related to AI, the economy, and the future of work.
Professor Abednego F. O. Amartey, Vice-Chancellor of UPSA, stated: “It is an honour to host the QS Africa Forum. The event offers an invaluable opportunity for the advancement of higher education across Africa and beyond, spotlighting the crucial role of educational institutions in nation-building and youth empowerment as a means of societal and technological progress.”
Ben Sowter, QS Senior Vice-President, said: “The QS Africa Forum is a pivotal and transformative event that unites leaders from universities, academia, industry, and government.”

The statement said the complete list of speakers was available on the website dubbed “Speakers QS Africa Forum 2023”.
It urged interested participants who want to attend the Forum online or in-person to register.
It said members of the African Union were entitled to a free conference pass.
