Kwadaso (Ash), Dec. 29, GNA – Professor Kingsley Nyarko, the Incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso, has filed his nomination forms to re-contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the constituency.

The incumbent MP, seeking a second term in Parliament, has been the MP for the area after succeeding Dr S.K. Nuamah in 2020.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after submitting his forms, the MP thanked the constituency leadership and entire members of the party for their continued support over the years.

According to the MP, he was overwhelmed by the support from the teeming members, of which about 99 per cent were delegates in the constituency.

He was confident that their support would go a long way to assist him in winning the primary to retain the seat for the party in 2024.

“I’m confident of retaining this seat and as you can see from the massive support today, almost 99 per cent are delegates in Kwadaso.

This shows that the people of Kwadaso appreciate my good works. Since I became the MP for Kwadaso, everyone can testify to what I have done for the good people of Kwadaso,” he noted.

The MP said, “I still have so much to do in Kwadaso, let’s come together and bring more development in this area.”

Prof. Nyarko called on members of the party to work extra hard to ensure a convincing win for the NPP in both the parliamentary and presidential elections next year.

The MP was accompanied by Mr Samuel Donkor, the Kwadaso NPP Constituency Treasurer, Mr Castro Kwame Nkrumah, the Constituency Youth Organizer, Dependable Ladies, a women’s wing supporting Prof. Nyarko, as well as well-known delegates in the constituency.

Also contesting for the seat on the ticket of the NPP is Mr Vincent Frimpong, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Middle Belt Authority.
