Accra, Dec. 29, GNA – The Ministry of the Interior says Monday, January 1, 2024, which marks the beginning of the New Year is a public holiday and it should be observed as such.
“The general public is hereby informed that Monday, Ist January 2024, which marks New Year, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.”
This is in a statement issued and signed by Mr Ambrose Dery, the sector Minister.
