Takoradi Port donates to Twin City Special Needs School

Takoradi, Dec. 9, GNA – The Management and staff of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Takoradi, has donated items to the Twin City Special Needs School at Essipon in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis for an inclusive Christmas celebration.  

The items comprised bags of rice, cooking oil, cartons of chicken, beverages, biscuits, gari, sachet water, toilet tissues, and sanitary pads.  

Dr Kingsley Antwi-Boasiako, the Marketing and Public Affairs Manager of the Port, presented the items to the school and extended best wishes from the Director, Mr Peter Amo-Bediako, and the staff to the teachers and pupils.  

“The donation has become a tradition by the management and staff of the Port to show our love to the school every year…,” he said.  

Madam Crestentia Efua Bilson, the Head of the school, received the items and expressed management’s gratitude to the Authority for the tremendous support, saying it would go a long way to give joy to the children.  

The children also expressed their gratitude to the GPHA team with songs as they showered blessings on the entire management and staff.   

The donation was in fulfilment of the Port’s Corporate Social Responsibility’s three pillars of Education, Health and Environment.
