Accra, Dec. 24, GNA – Ghanaian actress Rabby Bray has been adjudged the “Creative Arts Personality of the Year” 2022 at the Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship (GME) awards.
The celebrated Ghanaian actress received recognition following her massive contribution to the development of the Ghanaian arts industry.
Mr. Ellis Adjei, Founder of the Ghana Media and Entrepreneurship Awards, highlighted Rabby Bray’s commitment to seeing the arts industry thrive by initiating numerous campaigns.
He stated that her contribution and massive investment in the film industry had offered numerous young individuals a platform to showcase their talents.
“We hardly see many of our actresses motivating young ladies to do the right thing; Rabby Bray is one of the few, especially, who is changing the narrative of women in the creative arts industry, thus portraying women in a positive light,” Mr. Adjei stated.
Actress Rabby Bray has produced some groundbreaking movie projects, including “Drops of Happiness,” which unravelled the situation of unemployment and its extreme disadvantages to society at large.
She also successfully produced the second edition of her all-female talent series, “RabbyStarlet,” which saw the overall winner walk away with ambassadorial deals, a car, and a cash prize as capital for a start-up business.
Recently, Rabby Bray won the prestigious award for the “Next Rated Woman of the Year” at the annual Women’s Choice Awards Africa and also the ‘Woman of the Year’ award at the Accra Music and Arts Awards 2022.
