Accra, Dec 18, GNA – Reverend Dr. Ginah Aba Wood Eshun, the Founder of Pastors in Prayer Worldwide Network (PPWWN), has urged Ghanaians not to stigmatise and sideline Men and Women of God because of the activities of fake ones.

She said there were many members of the Clergy who genuinely carry out the mandate of the great commission.

“There is a crop of pastors who are known to be doing wrong things in society but we also have some who have been well trained and well positioned to carry out the mandate of Jesus Christ”, she said.

She said clergy men and women formed an essential of part of society and their prayers had a positive impact on the country’s progress and stability.

Rev. Ginah Eshun said this during the (PPWWN) prayer rally held on Saturday, 17th December 2022 at the GNAT Hall in Teshie Accra, under the theme: “Oh Lord, heal our land”.

Pastors in Prayer Worldwide Network is a group made up of more than 500 Clergymen and women from over 20 countries including Italy, United Kingdom, The United States of America, France, Uganda, India among many others.

“Of late, Pastors have been stigmatised but there are good ones in the system. We can also contribute our quota to national development by doing what we know, which is praying”, Rev. Eshun said

Rev. Emmanuel Appiah Aning, a member of the network, said it was necessary for them as a group to “seek the face of God” for the current state of the country as ‘spiritual watchmen of the society”.

He said failure to effectively intercede in prayer for the country would mean a chance given to evil to prevail as physical interventions alone is not enough to sustain the country.

“As much as the government will be doing their physical things, we also need to seek spiritual intervention,” he added.

The PPWWN was formed in Ghana when Covid-19 started, the group organises periodic prayer sessions and rallies for divine intervention into the affairs of families, political leadership, the nation and world economy.
