Accra, Nov.21, GNA – The residents of Kotoku, American-Down, in Accra, have appealed to the government to help fix their bad road network to prevent children from drowning.
They said the road leading to the community had become a death trap with ‘deep narrow valleys’ filled with water when it rained.
The residents, in an engagement with the Ghana News Agency, said some schoolchildren, including a three-year-old girl nearly lost their lives on the American-Down Road rcently after a downpour and appealed to the government to fix it in time.
Mr Yaw Yeboah, a resident, said often, they had to park their vehicles and walk home because of the bad nature of the road.
