Sofia, Nov 07 (BTA/GNA) – A new Bulgarian teleworking platform, GigsRemote, connecting freelance IT specialists with global companies is launched, the platform said.
It has been created by the founders of the Bulgarian product and servicing IT companies: Plamen Tsekov (Scalefocus), Stefan Bumov (Sofica, HeleCloud), and Alexander Stankov (Paysafe).
“The expectations are that in the near future the traditional employment contracts will apply only to the core of companies and 30-40% of projects will be developed by freelance specialists. Our model meets this need for flexibility both among clients and specialists,” said Plamen Tsekov.
GigsRemote is an alternative to the typical long-term employment contract. Currently over 1.1 billion specialists across the world are involved under such a model, but very few of the teleworking platforms focus on specialists from Eastern Europe. In addition, the existing platforms linking freelancers and companies are limited to offering vacancies. This model is time consuming for both sides to search for possibilities. Through AI solutions, the platform offers the best match between the interests of both parties and this shortens the time for hiring and the launch of the projects to one month.
The global freelance market is estimated at 42.9 billion dollars and is expected to grow by 65% in the next five years, said the founders.
