Accra, Nov 6, GNA – As the world is going through economic hardship, the Reverend Godson Gbloe, the Second Vice Chairman of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), has urged Christians to trust God, who has the solution for every hardship.

Speaking during the GCCI Tema District Joint Church Service at Ashaiman on Sunday, he said Christians must always look to God for help and remain steadfast in His work.

“Your labour in the Lord is not in vain,” Rev. Gbloe said, and encouraged the congregation to be prayerful and always look to God for help in every difficult situation.

The service, on the theme; “Imitating Christ in Reaching out to the Lost Souls,” was to climax the church’s 40 days of fasting and prayers.

It was attended by congregants from the seven branches of the church in the Tema District.

These are Grace Temple, Maranatha Assembly, Tema Main, Tema Newtown, Prampram, Mount Zion Assembly and Refuge Assembly.

Rev. Paul Morgan Adorsu, the GCCI Tema District Pastor, advised them to let their character reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He said Jesus Christ went through all the challenges Christians had been through during his earthly life, and was able to make a way for His followers.

Rev. Adorsu appealed to churches to intensify their evangelism drive in order to win more souls for God.

“The propagation of the Great Commission is a task God has given to all Christians to carry out,” he said.
