Five amazing reasons why MTN customers must register their sims today

There are 1001 reasons why customers of Mobile network operators in Ghana must register their SIMS. However, MTN customers have so many extra and special reasons why they must register their SIMS.

In the latest update given by the Minister of Communications and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, she stated that customers will lose some benefits if they don’t register their SIMs by September 30th, 2022. For MTN customers, the losses go beyond the punitive measures the government will take. This is because there are so many exciting things on MTN that no customer must take for granted.

Family connections

In Ghana, no telecom provider has positioned itself as a family-oriented service provider better than MTN. With over twenty-five million subscribers, MTN remains the largest network provider and, by extension, the telco with the largest number of “family members”.

Not just that, MTN connects families and keep them in touch with each other with services like Nkomode, Free after One and Sunday special. Losing your SIM means losing the benefit of staying in touch with your family everyday of your life and when you need them most. You cannot afford to miss our Christmas concert, Music festival, MTN stands in worship, MTN festival of 9 lessons and Carols, MTN Hitmaker and many more all of whose invitations are sent to your MTN Number

Friends’ hangouts

MTN is a network for Family and Friends, and this is not just a cliché. The network has succeeded in creating a hub of people who have established connections with the network, through the network and on the network. So many people have made good friends through the connections that MTN provides. There are special occasions, such as the pulse hangouts, that bring friends together and give them the chance to win amazing prizes, and this is something that customers must not miss. After all, we all need our family and friends.

Reliable network

Reliability is key in choosing a partner. MTN has proved to be a reliable service provider in all situations, whether rain or shine.

During the Covid pandemic, moments of power instability (dumsor) and floods, MTN has been there. Although Ghana’s rainstorm is not like Hurricane Katrina of the US, we have nonetheless had some heavy flooding, but this does not prevent the network from ducking its responsibility.

Fastest Voice and Data connections

MTN is known to be the telecom provider with the fastest data connections; this is well established. With close to 70 per cent of data users in the country, you can be sure that every person (well, close to that) uses MTN’s service. Data services provided by MTN is helping businesses, government, health care providers, e-commerce enterprises and many more connect and create value for their customers. Can you imagine a day without access to the world’s latest updates on business, entertainment etc all because you cannot access data?
