Republic Bank supports TADISCO with 50, 000 cedi for science development

Westline (WR), July 27, GNA – The Republic Bank Ghana Limited has issued a cheque for GHC 50,000 to the Takoradi Senior High School, (TADISCO) to help in science education and overall education of students.

The cheque was in response to a GHC 125, 000 proposal developed by the school and forwarded by an old student to the Bank for the procurement of laboratory stools to aid effective science practical works.

Mr. Akwasi Afriyie Opoku, the Takoradi Branch Manager of the Bank presenting the cheque said they were pleased to be associated with education delivery in the country.

Mr. Ato Bruce, the Headmaster of the TADISCO receiving the Cheque, expressed happiness for the kind gesture which would solve half of their laboratory problems.

He noted an E-transform programme which might see to the procurement of new computers to the school and lauded the Effia Kwesimintsim Member of Parliament for the great assistance to the school.

Mr. Bruce hinted that the school had a lot of needs which he was trusting the PTA and other benevolent institutions would come to the aid of the school.

The headmaster was grateful to the Management of Aboadze Thermal Plant for supporting the school with a cornmill.
