Legendary Jamaican Film Actor to visit Ghana soon

Accra, July 14, GNA – Legendary Jamaican Film Actor and Visual Artist, Paul Campbell will soon visit Ghana.

Although timelines are not readily available, it’s expected to happen before the end of third quarter

Known in the third world cop film as CAPONE, which Ghanaians identify him with, he will be visiting Ghana as part of the Government tourism initiative programme, BEYOND RETURNS.

Mr Gary Cooper FIA-Kojo AYIVI, a co-host told the Ghana News Agency in an exclusive interview in Accra that Paul Campbell’s visit would boost the country’s tourism and film industry as he was a legend in the Caribbean and North America Countries and world at large .

He said Campbell will be looking forward to meeting the sector minister of Creative Arts and Tourism and ,visit Cape coast , Elmina Dungeons, Assin Manson , meet the industry players and visit the school of performing Arts at the university of Ghana to interact with the students ,Nima , Mamobi and James Town.

He told the GNA that Star Brown, of AFRICAN STAR SOUND SYSTEM and AFRICAN STAR PLUS LIMITED a personal friend of Paul Campbell who is making it possible for his visit sees GHANA as the most peaceful country in the world and hoped his visit would build a strong connection with the players in the art and film industry to share ideas with adequate collaborations.
