Kadjebi Assembly presents 200 dual desks to education directorate

Kadjebi (O/R), June 13, GNA – Mr Wilson Agbanyo, the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Kadjebi in the Oti Region, has presented 200 dual desks to the District Education Directorate for distribution to schools in the district.

He said the desks were procured by the Ministry of Education for distribution to schools.

Mr Agbanyo said the supply of the desks would help solve the desk deficit situation in the Kadjebi District.

The DCE said when he assumed office, his administration had provided 250 desks to the Ghana Education Service (GES) directorate and that they were ready to create comfortable and conducive leaning environment for the students in the district to learn.

He advised the students to study hard to pass their examinations to justify the investment the government and their parents were making in them.

Mr Agbanyo also admonished them to handle the desks with care to prolong their lifespan.

Mr Asare Ntim, the Director of Planning, GES, thanked the Assembly for the desks and promised to put them to effective use.
