All Set for NPP Regional delegates conference in Oti

Yabram (O/R) May 28, GNA – About 185 delegates are expected to determine the fate of 30 candidates when the Oti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates conference comes off at Yabram in the Krachi East Municipality.

The candidates are scheduled to contest for the position of chairman, first vice chairman, second vice chairman, woman’s organizer, youth organizer, treasurer, secretary, assistant secretary and Nasara coordinator.

Security is visibly present to make sure the exercise is not disrupted.

Mr Charles Dormaban, Deputy Commission Of Police (DCOP), Mr Charles Dormaban assured the Ghana News Agency (GNA) of the readiness of the Police to quell any security breaches.

He emphasised the no-accreditation-no-entry policy and urged all participants and media present to obtain valid identification cards before entering the hall.

Security is made up of the Ghana Police, Immigration officers, Fire officers and BNI officials.

The Yabram Community Day Senior High School (YAHCOS) venue for the exercise is decorated with NPP paraphernalia while supporters are embroiled in singing ‘jama’ songs
