MCE declares support for Incumbent NPP Chairman in Central Region

Dunkwa-on-Offin (C/R) May 22, GNA -Mr Ebenezer Appiah -Forson, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Upper Denkyira East Municipal Assembly (UDEMA), has rooted for the retaining of Mr Robert K. Kutin Jnr as the Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr Appiah-Forson made the declaration during an interview with the media in Dunkwa on the upcoming Regional Executive Elections of the party across the country.

According to him, Mr Kutin Jnr is a unifier, result-oriented, workaholic, loyal, honest, and committed to the cause of the party.

He indicated that the performance of the NPP party in the Central Region under the Chairmanship of Mr. Robert Kutin, has improved consistently over the years.

The MCE noted that it would be in the party’s interest to retain Mr Kutin Jnr to achieve their breaking the eight agenda.

He said the incumbent Regional Chairman had over the years supported and assisted the party at the grassroots level resourcing them for massive win during elections hence needed to be maintained for agenda 2024.

Mr Appiah appealed to the delegates to consult their electorates to know who to lead the party well in the coming election to guide them in voting.

He called for unity and peace among the delegates adding that in all they were one people in one elephant family.

Mr Appiah-Forson urged them to eschew any form of anger, insults, and acts that could bring misunderstanding or division within the party but focus on the election ahead of them.
