Accra, April 27, GNA – The British High Commission in Ghana, has held a cocktail reception to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 96th Birthday and Platinum anniversary as the British Monarch at the residence of the High Commissioner in Accra.
Dr Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts who led Ghana’s delegation to the event joined Madam Harriet Thompson, the British High Commissioner to Ghana, and other dignitaries to cut the anniversary cake.
The event attracted government officials, members of the Diplomatic Corp, officials of the High Commission and some other dignitaries.
