Let Easter bring an end to past grievances and retrogression -Bagbin

Accra, April 16, GNA- Mr Alban S.K Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, has implored Ghanaians to use the death of Christ as an avenue to open a new chapter in life.

In an Easter message, through a tweet, Mr Bagbin summarised three vital virtues the citizenry must embrace and be guided by before, during and after the season.

He said: “selfless gesture of love during this period is essential.”

The entirety of this, the Speaker prayed, would bring an end to past grievances and retrogression.

On behalf of the Members of Parliament, the Board and the Parliamentary Service Staff, Speaker Bagbin extended his Easter wishes asking that; the death of Christ would symbolise the end of past grievances

“His burial represents the burial of all things retrogressive, and “His resurrection would serve as the ideal example of our commitment to serving in truth, love and peace.” He said.
