Ghana’s 65th Independence Day Celebration ready for take-off in Oti

Dambai (O/R) March 6, GNA – About 480 selected students consisting of both public and private schools, departments, associations, and beauticians in the Oti Region enthusiastically participating in today’s Independence Day Celebration.

The security contingent include Ghana Prison Service from Kete- Krachi, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Police Service and Ghana National Ambulance Service

The Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited Dambai Lapaz park and sighted several pupils and students as well as security personnel engaged in colourful rehearsals awaiting the event.

Many students highlighted some level of understanding about the important of Ghana’s Independence Day Celebration, but others only showed interest in the activities.

Some beauticians told the Ghana News Agency that Ghana must demonstrate to the world that we were prepared to build on our foundation, but we must admit that reshaping the destiny of this country depended on us.

A section of the participants who shared their thoughts with the GNA, urged the government to bring the 2023 Edition of the 66th Independence Day anniversary in the Oti Region.
