Tadzi (VR), Jan. 3, GNA- Mr John Kwakuvi Hounlessodji, the Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Den Enterprise and Infinity Stars Hotel at Penyi in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region, has drilled a new mechanised water system for residents of Tadzi Community.
The water system was handed over to the community during a short ceremony where some inhabitants expressed great joy over what they called “dream come true.”
Torgbui Ashiagbor IV of Weta Traditional Area in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region commended the donor for his continuous philanthropic activities.
“Actually, I am not surprised because Infinity has been helping us for some time now. When we started the community centre project for the people of Tadzi, Infinity company came to support us and further supported us in diverse ways.”
Torgbui Ashiagbor IV further appealed to the residents to properly maintain the system.
He also called on the community to allow other adjoining towns to benefit from the water system since it was also constructed for free.
Mr Dzakpa Christian, Youth Secretary of the community, said the search for potable drinking water for decades in the farming community would be a thing of the past.
He expressed his gratitude to Mr Hounlessodji for his kind gesture and further promised to ensure the facility was put to good use.
On his part, Mr Hounlessodji said the residents of Tadzi and surrounding areas should expect more of his corporate social responsibility (CSR) drive.
He admonished the beneficiary communities to adopt a maintenance culture to extend the life span of the facility.
