Accra, Jan. 01, GNA- The Presiding Bishop of the International Charismatic Church (ICC), Reverend Dr. Oppong Adu Gyamfi, has admonished Christians to move with faith and not fear in the year 2022.
He said this on the dawn of the New Year at the Church auditorium in Fadama.
He noted that fear and panic continued to grip the world over the deadly Corona Virus, now the Omicron variant, and charged Christians to have faith in the Lord.
In his message titled, “Brand New Year, Brand New Kingdom,” the Head Pastor, said
“Jesus has already accomplished everything and he has made us partakers of the New Kingdom, moving with such a vision will make life easier and more enjoyable.”
The December 31st watch night service marked the end of the year 2021 and ushered in the New Year.
The congregants sang, danced and gave thanks to God for seeing them through 2021.
The service featured activities, including poetry recitals, musical interludes, praises and worship, thanks giving and testimonies.
Notable among the testimonies was how a congregant from the United States recovered from Covid-19.
The worshipper, said after losing a brother to COVID-19, she thought she was going to die having tested positive when she decided to return to Ghana for her retirement after 40 years in the States.
She said God came through for her and urged other congregants to have faith in God and observe the safety protocols.
