Hohoe (V/R), Dec. 26, GNA—The Hohoe Municipal Hospital recorded a total of four deliveries with five babies on Christmas Day.
The deliveries, which included a set of twins, were recorded between 0000 and 2359 hours of December 25, 2021.
Madam Esther Adjorkor Ablorh, a Midwife at the Hospital’s Labour Ward, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that out of the deliveries, four were females and a male.
She said three of the babies were delivered through Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) while the set of twins through Caesarean section.
Madam Ablorh said the babies were in good health.
Out of the deliveries, two were first-time mothers.
Ms Akwensi, a 16-year-old and a mother of a baby girl, said she was yet to name her child.
This is the second-highest Christmas Day delivery recorded at the Hospital in the past three years.
A total of 12 babies were recorded in 2019, three in 2020 and four, this year.
