Accra, Dec. 20 GNA— The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in partnership with Isimangaliso Africa, an online media company, have launched the Ghana Football App in a bid to help make improvements and develop football in Ghana.
The Ghana Football App would be a platform for football lovers all over the world to streamline Ghanaian football matches, read news, watch highlights, watch interviews, check fixtures, results, and competition standings.
Mr. Kurt Okraku, the President of the GFA said the introduction of the football app was as a result of the association’s quest to reach out to many football lovers in Ghana and across the world.
He explained that the Ghana Football App was an online representation of what GFA does and described how important it would be to football lovers.
“The app that we see here is also an online representation of what we do as a football association, and it will take Ghana football to millions of homes across the world.
“Wherever you may find yourself beginning today, across the shores of Ghana, you have a very reliable platform to consume the sports that makes all of us happy right on your phones.”
The President made it known that the online platform would from tomorrow receive lots of exclusives about the happenings in Ghana football.
He showed his appreciation to the various departments of the football association, Isimangaliso Africa, and all those who helped and would be helping in making the Ghana Football App a reality.
The General Secretary of GFA, Mr. Prosper Harrison Addo, also assured that the GFA would continue to build and develop Ghana football till it reaches the highest level.
The Ghana Football App is categorised into four pages, the homepage, for checking news, the matches page, for checking all upcoming fixtures and results, the standings page shows updated competition information, and the watch page, where live matches can be streamed.
