Accra, July 10, GNA – Eventguide Magazine, an entertainment and event-based magazine, has unveiled its June Edition to sell Ghana to the world through the magazine’s eye, by compiling activities, trends and events in the country.
The 24-page magazine has Ghanaian beauty entrepreneur, Rebecca Donkor, on the Cover Page.
The Cover Page personality is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Makeup Ghana, the unifying platform for the beauty industry in Ghana, focused on policy advocacy, brand and product development consultancy, training and events.
The Magazine contains detailed profiling of the cover personality, an exclusive interview, latest event news and updates, and more interesting events and entertainment, home and abroad.
Madam Gladys Osei Owiredu, President of Eventguide, at the unveiling ceremony in Accra, said the objective was to unveil Ghana to the world through compiling activities, trends and events in one magazine for the world to read.
She said Eventguide ensured that great minds and hardworking personalities in their respective industries were captured, and through their works they could be projected to the world.
“Let’s all support this initiative, in a way that sells personalities and Ghana,” she said.
Madam Donkor, on her part, expressed gratitude for the honour and said the journey had been exciting but tough, yet rewarding and fulfilling.
After all the struggles as an entrepreneur for 15 years she founded Makeup Ghana five years ago to transform the beauty industry.
She encouraged the youth to fight all odds to make a difference and get recognized for it.
The CEO had led initiatives such as the Ghana Makeup Awards and the Africa Makeup and Beauty Fair.
She currently serves as the Youth Education Ambassador, appointed by the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), alongside Hajia Samira Bawumia, Wife of the Vice President, under the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations.
As a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Ambassador, she worked alongside the First Lady, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, by the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET), and the Ministry of Education.
The audience was treated to music and performances by Ekow Saxx, Iona Reign, and Tattuu.
