Aduana FC targets FA Cup

Dormaa-Ahenkro (B/A), Jun. 14, GNA – Joseph Asare Bediako Head Coach of Aduana Football Club, has set his eyes on the MTN FA Cup competition.

Aduana FC would take on Paga Crocodiles in the round of 32 of the competition and Coach Asare is confident of overcoming that threat to advance to the next stage of the competition and possibly annex it.

“We are not going to toy with this division one side. They would come very tough, and we must not underrate them” he added.

Coach Asare Bediako was speaking in a post-match interview at Nana Agyemang Badu I Sports Stadium after Aduana Football Club and Liberty Professionals encounter in Match Day 29 feature of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) in Dormaa Ahenkro.

The match ended with Sam Adams and Bright Adjei scoring the two goals of the game for Aduana.

Giving an update of the injury situation in camp, he expressed optimism of the return and availability of midfielder Benjamin Tweneboah for the next match and was quick to pass that, “as for Yahaya Mohammed his situation is still not good”.

“He has not started training yet. Farouk was on suspension for three yellow cards and he’s coming back this weekend, ” he added.

The coach was hopeful that the team would emerge victorious in their next premier league game with WAFA away or draw with them at worse.

The game ended 2 – 0 in favour of the “Ogya boys” and Nurudeen Abdulai was voted the man of the match.
