Baakokrom(WNR) March 31, GNA – Mr George Osei Kwaku, Headmaster of the Baakokrom M/A Primary and JHS, near Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, has reiterated that the COVID-19 is real and still hovering around mankind.
He has therefore urged Ghanaians not to lose focus, but always be on guard against the spread of the disease.
Mr Osei Kwaku who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), in an interview, said the pandemic has changed the dynamics of every aspect of human activities on this earth.
He therefore called for concerted efforts to protect their children from contracting the disease especially this Easter.
“Parents and guardians must safeguard the health and well-being of their wards during and after the celebration of the Passion week so that they would return safely to school in good health,” he stated.
The Headmaster said, “while we religiously observed the COVID-19 safety protocols, especially the wearing of Nose masks, let’s closely monitor the movements of children to keep them away from contracting the disease.”
He also urged parents and guardians to constantly inculcate in their children the habit of regular hand washing with soap under running water, hand sanitizers, wearing of nose masks, and social distancing, amongst other precautionary measures, to help them grow with it.
The Educationist further admonished parents to help make the children feel at home and save them from all forms of waywardness.
“The schools need all their students alive and healthy, while the nation needs all its citizenry alive and healthy to contribute meaningfully to community development and national transformation, ‘he concluded.
