In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at the School’s premises, the Human Resource (HR) Manager of HMD Africa, Mr. Martin Awuku, said his organization deemed reaching out to needy persons and institutions within their area of business a necessity as it helped such persons lived better lives.

Speaking in relations to the effects of the health challenges of the moment, the HR Manager informed that, “As a result of Covid-19, we want to skew our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to relieve individuals who are facing challenges during this period so they could go through successfully.”

Mr. Awuku therefore observed that HMD Africa conducted a research to determine which school needed assistance in the area because the company wanted to make sure the donation went to “the school that needed it most.”

The Municipal Director of Education of the Kpone Katamanso Municipality (KKM), Mr. Harry Evans Arthur, receiving the items, observed the deprived nature of the school and the timely nature of the donation.
