Christians urged to consecrate themselves to God in 2021

Tongor-Dzemeni (V/R), Jan. 1, GNA – Elder Lucky Adzah, the Presiding Elder of the Holy Ghost Temple at Tongor-Dzemeni in the South Dayi District has asked Christians to consecrate themselves to God in 2021.

He said it was important for Christians to live an impeccable and holy life in their daily activities as vessels and temple of the divine God.

Elder Adzah said this when he delivered the end of year sermon on the theme; “preparing the people” at Tongor-Dzemeni in the South Dayi District of the Volta region.

He urged them to endeavour to walk in the newness of life and learn the bible to enable them build good and strong relationship with God.

The Presiding Elder asked Christians to seek the face of the Lord wholeheartedly in their endeavours as the presence of God strengthened man to overcome any difficulties and opened best opportunities to him.

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles and the judgments he pronounced.”

He charged them to have faith in God and commit themselves to him, believing his mighty hand of changing their situations for good as it was written; adding “…he who comes forward to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Elder Adzah said though the Lord said he would build his Church and the power of hade would not prevail against, it was necessary for Christians to watch and pray as the enemy continued to work against the economy of God.

He underscored the need for Christians to wait on God in prayer to receive their blessings from Him at the appointed time for “the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie, though it tarries, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Intercessory prayers were made for the nation, the President, his Vice, Ministers, traditional authorities and the entire country.
