Kikis Court Fan Club celebrates Christmas with three Hohoe Hospital wards

Hohoe (V/R), Dec 26, GNA – Kikis Court Fan Club (KCFC), a Hohoe-based social group, has donated to three wards of the Hohoe Municipal Hospital.

The items; 100 packs of cooked food, eight packs of soft drinks and toys were presented to the Children’s, lying-in and labour wards.

Ms Golda Joan Dorkenoo, Assistant General Secretary of the Club, disclosed to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the items worth GH¢1,000 were to put some smile on the faces of the patients.

She said the donation also formed part of the Club’s “KCFC Cares” social interventions.

The Secretary said the Club continued to engage in community and social responsibility projects and activities, which promoted healthy living and networking for the youth in the Municipality.

Ms Dorkenoo called on benevolent groups and individuals to extend help to the needy in society during Christmas.

Mr Kuworye Nathan, Deputy in-charge of the Hospital’s Children ward, expressed gratitude to the Club for the kind donation.

He said the donation would put a smile on the faces of the children since they were not home.

The in-charges of the other wards also thanked KCFC for their kind gesture.

Madam Mercy Agbeko, a mother on behalf of the recipients, asked for God’s blessings for the Club for its kind gesture shown to them.
