CAS adjourns Palmer case to September 1

Accra, Aug. 5, GNA – The Court of Arbitration For Sports (CAS) has adjourned the case between Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to September 1, 2020.

The Arbitration which was expected to sit on the case filed by Tema Youth President Osei Kwakku against the Ghana FA over his disqualication in the 2019 GFA Presidential Seat on August 04, 2020 has being postponed again.

The hearing was scheduled for last month but due to inability of the court gathering all the required information postponed to August, 2020.

After hours of both parties (GFA and Palmer) waiting, CAS has postponed it once again.

Prior to the 2019 elections, Palmer was disqualified on two grounds. Thus, breach of article 33(5) (C) of the GFA Regulations.

Decision of the ethics committee dated the 13th December, 2017.
