Abenase (Ash), Aug. 03, GNA – Nana Kwaku Agyei Yeboah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), has asked registrants to abide by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) safety protocols.
“Ghanaians should be mindful that the disease is no respecter of persons,” he observed, saying those who turn up at the registration centres ought to do so with caution and recourse to the preventive guidelines.
Nana Agyei Yeboah, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), after he had distributed free protective items to registrants at Abenase, near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region, said the citizenry should be law-abiding.
The items included nose masks, hand sanitizers, soap and sets of disposable tissue.
Additionally, the SLTF CEO facilitated the transportation of the aged to some registration centres at Abenase to enable them to exercise their franchise in the December General Elections.
He urged qualified Ghanaians, who were yet to register for their voter cards, to strive to do so as the Electoral Commission began the sixth and final phase of the exercise.
Nana Agyei Yeboah lauded the people for comporting themselves in the course of the registration.
He said it was the responsibility of all and sundry not to foment any trouble to help end the exercise successfully.
