Accra, June 30, GNA – The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has canceled the 2019/2020 Football Season, after the Executive Council meeting on Thursday, June 30, 2020.
The season has been on suspension since March 2020, following the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic.
The GFA was compelled to cancel the league following the decision of the government to sustain the ban on sporting activities since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Again, other international bodies like the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made adjustments to their activities with the major one as the cancelation of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.
