NPP maintains Mireku Duker as Parliamentary candidate for Tarkwa-Nsuaem

Nsuaem (W/R), June 21, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency of the Western Region have retained Mr George Mireku Duker as its candidate for the 2020 elections.

Mr Duker who went unopposed in the NPP parliamentary primaries was given a popular acclamation by the Party’s delegates in the Constituency.

The Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency with thirty Electoral Areas was zoned into eight and the Member of Parliament and his team visited all these zones for him to be acclaimed.

Mr Ekow Essien, Municipal Electoral Officer of Tarkwa-Nsuaem supervised the exercise.

Climaxing the three-day acclamation process, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Benjamin Kessie together with the constituency chairman, Mr Benjamin Asabil beseeched the delegates to work hard to retain NPP in power.

Mr Duker on his part, expressed his profound gratitude to the delegates for retaining him as their parliamentary candidate.

He entreated the Party supporters to collectively work in harmony at the grassroot to help canvass more votes for the Party.
