Mampamhwe gets CHPS compound

Mampamhwe-Obuasi (Ash), June 18, GNA – Dr. Patrick Boakye-Yiadom, Member of Parliament for Obuasi East, has inaugurated a Community-based Health Promotion and Services (CHPS) compound for the people of Mampamhwe in the Obuasi East District.

The eight bed facility, has delivery beds for nursing mothers, resting rooms for nurses, an oxygen cylinder and others aimed at improving health care delivery in the community.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Boakye-Yiadom, said the Kwabenakwa-Mampamhwe road had been awarded on contract to help improve access not only to the health facility but other communities in the area.

Madam Faustina Amissah, District Chief Executive for Obuasi East, said the coronavirus was real and appealed to the people in the area to strictly adhere to all the preventive protocols to help stay safe from the virus.
