Rainstorm victims of Ayensuano District receive assistance from MP

Coaltar E/R May 12, GNA – Mr Aye Paye, Member of Parliament for Ayensuano has support about seven hundred inhabitants mostly farmers, who were rendered homeless following a rainstorm, which hit Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region.

The victims received 500 bags of cement, 40 packets of roofing sheets and 40 boxes of nails.

Some of the affected areas included; Otoase, Akokrom, Dokorochiwa, OnakwaAse, Kofi Pare, Kwaboanta and Govinakrom.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Govinakrom one of the communities Mr. Aye Paye said no casualty was recorded.

He said the items were his own personal contribution towards the welfare of the people, and appealed to them not to build houses on water ways.
