MTN supports the celebration of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr in the Western Region

Sekondi, May 8, GNA – The South/West office of the Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) Ghana has donated towards the celebration of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr in the Western Region.

The donation, usually done at the home office of the Regional Chief Imam, is gradually gaining roots in the annals of the company as a yearly commitment in making the Muslim festival more glamorous.

The company, therefore, presented bags of rice, cartons of vegetable cooking oil, assorted drinks, and cartons of mineral water for onward distribution to the needy.

Mr. Prince Owusu Nyarko, Regional Senior Manager of the MTN, during the presentation prayed for more blessings, open doors, and general prosperity for the business and its clients in the years ahead.

He said, “We pray Almighty Allah to see us through the fasting period and bless us abundantly after everything”.

Mr. Nyarko also reminded the Muslim community especially its Leaders and all religious groupings to continue to educate their members on the deadly COVID-19 pandemic and the need to observe all the protocols on prevention.

Dr Sheikh Ostaz Ali Hassan Ali, Western Regional Chief Imam acknowledged the yearly support by the company to the Muslim fraternity and described it as a good brotherhood in building a stronger society.

He, therefore, appreciated the gesture and blessed the management and staff of MTN for the assistance.
