Global Evangelical Church’s Pastors and Spouses Association elects new executives

Ho (V/R), January 8, GNA – The Global Evangelical Church’s Pastors and Spouses Association (PASA) has elected new executives to steer its affairs for the next three years.

The nine-member executive elected at the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Association at Ho, the Volta Regional capital, is led by the Reverend Maxwell Joshua Acolatse Bonuedi.

The executives were drawn from five of the fifteen Presbyteries of the church, including the Tema, Accra, Akatsi, Ho and Takoradi Presbyteries.

Inducting the new executives into office, Rt Rev Prosper Samuel Dzomeku, Moderator of the Church, charged them to lead the Association with diligence and integrity.

In his acceptance speech, Rev Bonuedi who takes over from Rev Dr Nyuieko Avotri as president expressed gratitude to the outgone executives for the services they rendered to the association.

Rev Bonuedi prayed for God’s presence for the new executive to help them achieve the goals of the association.

He noted that the hearts and doors of the new executives are open to accommodate members’ opinions.

For his part, the out gone President, Rev Dr Avotri prayed for God’s support to help the new executives achieve success, and expressed the hope that the tenure of the new executive would be better than the previous.
