Krobo (BE/R), March. 01, GNA – Mr. Everson Addo-Donkor, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techiman North has said the Assembly was making strenuous effort to address developmental challenges in the district.
He said the Assembly’s commitment to fulfill the objectives of its mission and vision statements, through the provision of social amenities like education, health and general social infrastructure, will be tackled to improve the living conditions of the people.
Mr. Addo-Donkor was speaking during a day’s familiarization tour of some communities in the district, to have first-hand information about their socio-economic needs and also to inspect progress of work on on-going developmental projects.
The DCE later paid a courtesy call on Nana Asa Akompanin, the Chief of Krobo in the District and also the Kyidomhene of Techiman Traditional Area to affirm his administration’s commitment to develop the area for the well-being of the people.
Mr. Addo-Donkor outlined his vision to uplift the image of the District and his readiness to partner with the traditional authorities and other stakeholders to boost socio-economic development.
On his part, Nana Akompanin pledged his support for the DCE and the Management of the Assembly towards the execution of government’s socio-economic policies and programmes to enhance the livelihoods of the people.
The DCE and his entourage met with Nana Yeboah Kokwa chief of Aworowa community and inspected an on-going road rehabilitation project from Aworowa-Odumasi to Kokroko.
