Gospel musician Rebecca IFlourish out with new double

Accra, Feb. 19, GNA – Mrs Rebbeca Osei-Edwards, affectionately known in church settings as “Lady Becky, ” has released two singles to broaden her ministry of worship.

The new double, titled “Hallelujah Medley” and “Worthy of my Worship” is still making waves in the gospel setting after its release.

The 11-min “Hallelujah Medley, “takes you on a journey from Psalm 136 which recounts the two-edged sides of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that He shows towards His children; and proceeds through to the three other praise songs with well-crafted changing tempos and ad libbing.

The second single “Worthy of My worship” is based on Psalm 40:20 down, the song presents the supremacy of God in three distinct languages – English, Twi and Ga to make it all inclusive without losing its worshipful theme and message.

Lady Becky told the Ghana News Agency that she believes that worship is more than just singing songs but comes along with some deep spiritual inclinations.

“Deep worship must flow from a person’s constant dwelling in the courts of the Lord. When you dwell in His courts, you will flourish. Her foundational scripture is hooked on Psalm 92:13 ‘Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain’.” she said.

Lady Becky is a Journalist and Educationist by profession, Worshipper by calling, wife to Rev Osei-Edwards and a mother by divine appointment.

Her passion in the ministry of worship has led her to write two books on worship – her maiden book, “The Worth-Ship Mandate”, launched in 2019, combines her personal worship journey with explicit study on the roots of biblical worship, praise and thanksgiving.

Her second book, titled: “We His Temples”, launched in 2021, presents a simple, yet impactful explanation of the Tabernacle of Moses as a foreshadow of the worship procedure God wants New Testament believers in these times to follow.
