Ada Chief commends District Chief Executive

Tema, Feb. 15, GNA – Nene Terkpertey Dadah Tettegah V, the Chief of Ada Foah, has commended Ms Sarah Dugbakie Pobee, the District Chief Executive of Ada–East District Assembly, for championing development in the area.

He said the district had major development projects and social interventions under Ms Pobee’s leadership, saying “I believe that it is God who had chosen you to lead the people of Ada.

“Considering how people are testifying about you, it is true that the Lord has chosen you at this particular moment, I have seen a lot of projects that you have undertaken and it’s a good thing that Ada has such a person in the district”.

Nene Tettegah V made this known during the commissioning of the rehabilitated recovery ward, Ada Health Centre, Ada-Foah, and said collective effort and unity among the people of Ada was essential to tap into the opportunities laid down by their forefathers.

He said although there were many issues in the district, the Traditional Council of Ada Foah, would support the DCE and work together to bring peace and unity to the community.

The chief called on the Assembly Members and the residents to support the DCE to bring more development to the Ada district, adding that the whole community would benefit from such initiatives.

He urged Ms Pobee not to rest but continue to work hard to promote progress in the municipality.

Ms Pobee said in 2020, the sod was cut for the construction of health facilities, staff quarters, and classroom blocks in some communities in the district.

She said four completed school blocks were handed over to the District Director of Education as well as a merchandised borehole to the people of Gbanavie to serve them with potable water.
