Accra, Jan. 22, GNA – The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sacked Coach Milovan Rajevac, Head Coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars.
This comes after three months in office, as the Head Coach of the team.
Coach Rajevac supervised one of Ghana’s worse campaigns in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where the team exited after the group stages.
The decision follows a crucial meeting held between the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Friday, January 21.
The GNA Sports gathers that both parties were not impressed with the performance of the coach hence the swift decision after Ghana’s exit from the competition.
However, details of the decision by the GFA would be made later.
