Bono East Regional Minister resumes office

Techiman (BE/R), March 22, GNA – Mr Kwasi Adu-Gyan, the Bono East Regional Minister, has assured the people of the Region of an all-inclusive policy in his administration and mutual cooperation to ensure peace and unity in the area.

He said that policy would bring all on board to participate effectively in the decision-making process to improve the lot of the people, adding; “Together we work, together we stand to succeed”.

Mr Adu-Gyan gave the assurance when he officially resumed office on Monday at Techiman as the new Bono East Regional Minister.

He said with the support of the people, he would be able to discharge his duties with commitment.
The Minister pledged to build on the solid foundation laid by his predecessors and work hard to improve the socio-economic development of the Region.

He said he would collaborate with stakeholders including the traditional authorities, government agencies and MDCEs in delivering his mandate to unveil strategic plans and policies to improve the general development of the area, focusing particularly on health and education.

Mr Adu-Gyan was the immediate past Director-General of the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT.

He is a native of Jema in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems from the DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
