Hohoe (V/R), June 22, GNA – A Hohoe based social group, Kikis Court Fan Club (KCFC) has presented assorted items to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital as part of its activities to mark the 2020 Fathers’ Day celebrations.
The items included 21 packs of toilet rolls, seven packs of tissue papers, two cartons of liquid soap and two cartons of ‘carbolic’ soap.
Mr. Mawuli Samuel Agbenya, Spokesperson for the Club who presented the items said the donation formed part of the Club’s “KCFC Cares” social interventions.
Mr. Christian Adusu-Donkor, Founder of the Club was of the hope that the items would help to improve hygiene and sanitation at the Hospital.
“Cleanliness they say is next to godliness, therefore, in donating the toiletries, it is our hope that it will uplift the spirit of the patients and will accelerate their speedy recovery,” he added.
Mr Adusu-Donkor pledged the Club’s continued support to the Hospital in its fight to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus disease.
He said the Club would continue to engage in community social responsibility projects and activities as well as promote healthy living and networking for the youth in the municipality.
Dr Isaac Akandi, the Clinical Coordinator, Hohoe Municipal Hospital who received the items on behalf of the facility expressed gratitude to the Club for the kind gesture and support.
He said the items would be put to good use, adding that, they were important in the management of patients in the Hospital.
