Esiama(W/R), May 29, GNA – As part of his resolve to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has presented Personal, Protective Equipment (PPE) to healthcare centers in the District.
The items included 50 boxes of alcohol-based hand sanitizers and 200 assorted PPE as well as 100 pieces of bedsheets.
Beneficiary healthcare facilities were the Esiama Health Center, Kamgbunli clinic, Osagyefo Memorial Clinic at New Bakanta, Aiyinasi, Nkroful, Asasetre Health Centers as well as the Nzema-Akropong and Adoabo clinics.
Mr Buah extended the humanitarian gesture to other health centers outside his Constituency by donating PPE to the Axim government hospital in the Evaloe-Gwira constituency.
The gesture complements previously distributed PPE to some central healthcare facilities such as the St. Martin De Porres hospital at Eikwe and other ancillary health care centers especially at the Northern part of the constituency.
Representatives at the District Health Directorates who received the items thanked Mr Armah Kofi Buah for his support towards improving the health care standards of the people and urged him not to give off their best.
