Accra, Nov 29, GNA – The Luckiest, the first seasonal lottery to operate in the country, has in partnership with NLA Caritas Lottery, organised bus rides at reduced cost for commuters within the Madina and Adentan enclave.

The ride sessions to various destinations, are part of activities leading to the final draw of the lottery on Saturday, November 30.

The raffle, brought to Ghana by Genius Loci Limited, had earlier on, created a platform for some Ghanaians to win various life-changing cash and kind prizes such as TV sets, Mobile Phones, Air Conditioners, Motorbikes, and many more.

The affordable rides, according to Mr Yaw Owusu, the Media Manager of the Luckiest, was part of their corporate social responsibility to Ghanaians for patronizing the lottery.

Brand Ambassador for the Luckiest, Mr Mikki Osei Berko, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, explained, how the raffle made accessible to all Ghanaians above 18 years sought to empower Ghanaians to build wealth.

He said the “Luckiest is everywhere for everyone” and that their mission was to make Ghanaians who had faithfully participated in the raffle to attain the status of millionaires on 30th December, 2024, when the ultimate winner of the raffle would take home one million cedis.

“…what it means is that if you dial star 712 hush, that is your pathway to wealth. That can grant you the ability to win one million cedis, come 30th December,” he said.

Mr Berko used the platform to urged Ghanaians to dial the short code and actively participate in the lottery, which he explained, would afford them the opportunity to win the coveted cash price.

Some beneficiaries of the affordable bus ride, Mr Emmanuel Kalitsi a retired ex-service man and Mr Adu Gyamfi, a second-hand clothes dealer, commended the gesture as a step in the right direction because it saved them from paying the full amount of fare they would have paid, thereby, saving them some money.

Amused by the gesture, they dialed the code to participate with the hope of winning the ultimate price of a million cedis.

The organisers said they would continue the affordable bus service on Friday, 29th November where they will ply the Kasoa route to offer same service to commuters.
