Techiman (BE/R) Aug. 16, GNA – Mr George Inusah Bauh, the Bono East Regional Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC), says the party has re-strategized and intensified its campaign to win parliamentary seats in the region in the Election 2024.
He said the party would also make a significant impact in the presidential election by securing more votes, describing the PNC as the most committed political party that was sensitive to the plight of the people.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Techiman, Mr Bauh said development remained a priority, and that a PNC government would implement developmental policies and social intervention programmes that targeted to create more jobs for the youth.
“It’s only the PNC that has the solutions to the nation’s economic woes, and the capacity to reset the country and bring her to life”, he stated, saying “Ghana has lost her path to economic development”.
Mr Bauh called on the electorate to give the PNC a chance to govern the nation and see what it could do by voting for the party on December 7.
He emphasised that it would be politically and economically suicidal, if the electorate mistakenly gave another mandate to either the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to govern, saying “the country has always been managed by wrong hands that leave the citizenry to suffer.”
“But we need a committed, sincere, selfless devoted well-meaning government like the PNC to transform the economic fortunes of the nation and make life better for the people,” Mr Bauh added.
He said the presence of the PNC was well felt in all the four municipalities and seven districts of the region, saying the party had taken steps to enhance its membership drive in the region.
Mr Bauh said the party had targeted and reached out to persuade more of the youth and women to join the PNC.
